Improvisation is a method for advanced participants which allows us to collaborate with our clients and design 5-10 minute scenarios which are prevalent in your current work or school environment. The content of the scenes will be based on assessment data, your core diversity values and desired outcomes. During the program, the scenes may be performed multiple times. After the scene is performed the first time, a DD facilitator will ask the audience for feedback and suggestions of how certain characters could have behaved differently. We then playback the scene again - and the actors will incorporate the suggestions to give the audience a chance to see the corrected behaviors. This may be replayed a number of times with a number of different suggestions and may even be customized in such a way that your employees or students can get up on stage and role-play the scenarios themselves. Following the scenes, participants will be broken out into small discussion groups and led through interactive exercises.
